TERMS OF USE OF HOTSPOT U-ALL SOLUTIONS SERVICE
DEFINITIONS
For the purposes hereof, all words or expressions listed below
shall be understood according to their respective meanings:
a) "Internet": means the global network of interconnected computers
using the TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) protocol;
b) "Wi-Fi" (Wireless Fidelity) means a wireless network technology based
on the IEEE 802.11b/g/n specification, which defines the method of access, speed,
and frequency range used by this network.
c) "Web": System of interconnected information through hypermedia
(text, video, sound, and other digital animations), allowing the user to access
a multitude of content through the internet. It requires an internet connection
and a browser, where available content is viewed. Examples of browsers include:
Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.
d) "Site or website": means the page or sequence of pages that a legal or natural
person maintains on the Internet;
e) "SMS": A widely used service for sending short text messages
via mobile phones. It is a fast and efficient service. In the sending process,
the user types the message in the designated area of the phone,
enters the number of the person who will receive the message, and clicks send.
f) "Hotspot": indicates a place where it is possible to access the internet, and
is a term that comes from English. Hotspot means a "hot place," and Wi-Fi means
wireless network, that is, a location, usually commercial establishments where
internet can be shared and used without the need for wires or cables.
g) "Login/Username": English word meaning "username." It is the
user's identification to access a computer network or a specific
internet service. For example, to participate in discussions in internet communities,
it is usually necessary to provide a username, which defines the participant's identity.
Depending on the desired service, a website may require, in addition to the username,
a password defined by the user. The username and password are the information
needed for the user to log in: through the authentication of the data entered by the user,
the system allows or denies access. Login is a systematic way of controlling user access
to part or all of the services of a website or an internal computer network.
Some public sites have a private area, reserved for administrators or people with certain privileges.
To gain access to these private areas, the user with permission to do so must enter the
previously defined username and password.
h) "Access Point or AP": are the locations where Wi-Fi networks allow internet access.
i) "SSID" (Service Set IDentifier): is a unique set of characters that
identifies a wireless network. SSID differentiates one wireless network from another,
and a client can usually only connect to a wireless network if it can provide the correct SSID;
j) Sensitive data: personal data about race or ethnicity, religious beliefs,
political opinion, membership in a union or religious, philosophical, or political
organization, data related to health or sexual life, genetic data,
or biometric data when linked to a natural person.
